Present
I'm a Los Angeles based ceramic artist attending Claremont McKenna College where I major in Economics and Accounting with a separate focus in Art History courses.
Past
I began working with clay in kindergarten, first through sculpture, and then discovered wheel throwing in third grade in my school's high school ceramics studio. As I grew, so did my relationship with the material. I continued developing my craft at Creative Arts Group in Sierra Madre, California, and later at the American Museum of Ceramic Art in Pomona, California where my work has been on display. Since then, I’ve continued refining my practice in my studio in Los Angeles, exploring form, surface, and function through a body of work that reflects more than a decade of engagement with clay.
